Right folks, we’ve made it at last to the end of the year, and frankly not a moment too soon. This blog post will need to run slightly differently to the previous ones due to the sheer number of reveals that RE pushed out between Eicma and Motoverse, I spent a couple of evenings deleting whole sections of the previous post as they unveiled model after model. This time it will be pure rumours/spy shots and not things we’ve already had partially revealed (like the SCRAM 440).
So without further delay let’s take a good look at what is hopefully coming our way in the coming year.
The 450’s
Starting with my most anticipated: The K1D power cruiser.

We’ve heard very little since it’s initial announcement, we really only have this mock up, and there are no spy shots available. The biggest vibes this boy gives off is the Benelli 502c, but let’s see what eventually gets spotted and work backwards from there.
Next, the Scrambler 452:
This has been one of the most difficult to plan or even figure out, we saw multiple spy shots, though some were then confused with the Guerrilla 450. One of the better images shows a small clear screen we’ve not previously seen on the other models. We know it was delayed to 2025 so surely this must be next quarters release, interesting though that it will now share territory with the new SCRAM 440, which undoubtedly has more charm, but less power.

The 450 cafe racer:

The 750 twins.
I’m chucking these two together because we know varying amounts of information about both models, a lot is pure stipulation based on the observed tests and spy shots. The first two in this class appear to be a new Continental GT & Interceptor.

From the off you will notice that both have dual front disks, the GT has what looks like a rather Monza-esk front fairing, which is one of the many details we have already been subject to since 2023 when it was leaked there would be a new model GT/fairing kit. I note that both appear to have done away with the retro dials and appear to have gone for the newer TFT display from the Sherpa platform. Imho this will look great on the Interceptor, though I feel the GT would have looked better with the analogue dial setup from the Meteor.
I’m going to consider the wisdom of moving to a 750cc engine separately, we haven’t actually had any clarification that this is a new engine at all, most of the reports indicate this is an updated 650cc parallel twin that RE are reported to be getting an extra 5-7bhp out of. I guess we are going to have to stay tuned for further developments on that.
The Himalayan:
Spotted about repeatedly, this Himmy was originally stated to be getting the tried and tested 650cc twin engine so readily used on its siblings, with a more modern frontal fairing and the TFT display from the 450’s. Then on the 31st of December it was spotted again in the wild with, what was stated to be the updated 750cc engine.
